An Unforgettable Experience: Lady Gaga in Osaka, and a Cultural Journey in Kyoto
I went to see Lady Gaga’s concert in Osaka, and it was absolutely incredible.
The show felt almost like an opera — powerful, dramatic, and deeply emotional.
It was truly the best concert of my life, and I felt like I was experiencing entertainment at the highest level in the world.
Thank you so much for coming to Japan, Gaga. 🤍
This time, I went with my friend who lives in Kyoto, so I stayed at my friend’s house.
Since I came all the way to Kyoto, I wanted to explore some special places.
A Coffee Shop with Beautiful Latte Art

First, I visited a coffee shop called Latte Art Junkies Roasting Shop, where the owner had once been a latte art champion.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to meet him, but one of the staff members welcomed us warmly and made beautiful latte art.
Both the coffee and the hospitality were wonderful.

Fucha Cuisine at Manpuku-ji Temple

Second, I really wanted to visit Manpuku-ji to try Buddhist vegetarian cuisine.
The food served there is called Fucha Ryori, which was introduced from China.
The name means sharing food and tea beyond boundaries, and traditionally, all dishes are shared among four people as part of the etiquette.
Although Fucha cuisine is traditionally shared by four people, reservations are available for groups of two or more.
My friend and I reserved the basic Fucha Bento course.
The bento included tempura, simmered vegetables, soup, and sesame tofu.
The sesame tofu was especially delicious. It is made fresh every morning, with sesame seeds carefully ground by the head monk himself.
I highly recommend visiting this temple.
It was designated as a National Treasure in December 2024, and the experience there was truly special.
