今回はカナダでできた友達、叔母、兄夫婦に会うために関西旅行を決行しました。宮崎空港から約1時間、飛行機に乗り伊丹空港へ到着。大阪–京都–三重、4泊5日の旅の始まりです。

　This time, I decided to travel to Kansai to meet my friends, aunt, and brother and sister whom I made in Canada. We took a one-hour flight from Miyazaki Airport to Itami Airport. The trip started with Osaka-Kyoto-Mie, a four-night, five-day trip.

　朝5時に起きて日向市駅へ向かい、電車に飛び乗りました。車窓から日の出を眺めて、宮崎空港へ。そしてANAを利用して伊丹空港に降り立ち最初に向かった先は叔母との待ち合わせ場所である新大阪駅です。伊丹空港からシャトルバスを利用して、片道510円、約40分で目的地へ到着しました。

　I woke up at 5:00 a.m., headed to Hyugacity Station, and hopped on the train. I could watchi the sunrise from the train window. I headed to Miyazaki Airport. Then I landed at Itami Airport via ANA and my first destination was Shin-Osaka Station, where I was to meet my aunt. Taking the shuttle bus from Itami Airport, I arrived at my destination in about 40 minutes for 510 yen one way.

叔母と最後に会ったのは中学生か高校生の頃。今回は6年以上ぶりの再会でした。変わらない笑顔で出迎えてくれて、叔母が発した最初の言葉は…

The last time I saw my aunt was when I was in junior high or high school. This time we met again after more than 6 years. She greeted me with the same smile and the first words my aunt uttered were…

「ほんまに顔が丸くなったな〜」　でした。笑

She said, “Your face is really round now. lol

新大阪に到着したのはお昼前。叔母と昼食をいただこうという話になり、大阪名物の一つで”豚まん”が有名な「551蓬莱(ほうらい) アルデ新大阪店」のイートインスペースに行きました。

豚まんも麺類も全部食べたい！！！という欲が抑えられず、豚まん、エビシュウマイ、551タンツーメン、春巻、甘酢団子、ミニ杏仁豆腐がセットになった「551点心セット」(1,700円)を選びました。

It was just before noon when I arrived at Shin-Osaka. My aunt and I decided to have lunch and went to the eat-in space of “551 Hourai Alde Shin-Osaka,” which is famous for its “pork buns,” one of Osaka’s specialties.

I want to eat all the pork buns and noodles! I couldn’t resist my craving, so I chose the “551 Dim Sum Set” (1,700 yen), which includes pork buns, shrimp shao mai, 551 tantu men, spring rolls, sweet and sour dumplings, and mini apricot pudding.

叔母と話に花を咲かせながら、食も堪能。せいろを開けたらお目当ての豚まんとご対面。酢しょうゆとカラシをつけていただきました。

お腹が満たされた後はあべのハルカスへ！！新大阪駅から大阪メトロを使って約30分、天王寺駅へ到着。

あべのハルカスは2014年3月にオープンした複合商業ビルで日本初の高さである地上60階建て、高さ300メートルです。最上階の60階までの入場券を購入して、レッツゴー！！

While chatting with my aunt, I also enjoyed the food. When I opened the seiro, I saw the pork buns I was looking for. It ate with vinegar soy sauce and Japanese mustard sauce.

After filling your stomach, go to Abeno Harukas! From Shin-Osaka Station, take the Osaka Metro for about 30 minutes to arrive at Tennoji Station.

Abeno Harukas is a commercial complex that opened in March 2014 and is Japan’s first commercial building with 60 floors and a height of 300 meters. Purchase an admission ticket to the top 60 floors and let’s go!

そして、全面ガラス張りで360度、大阪を見渡せる展望所に到着！この日はとても天気が良く、通天閣や大阪城など大阪の観光名所はもちろん、明石海峡大橋と淡路島まで見ることができました。地上で動く車や電車がおもちゃのように見えて、不思議に感じましたよ。

Then we arrived at the observation deck, which is entirely made of glass and offers a 360-degree view of Osaka! It was a beautiful day, and we could see not only Osaka’s tourist attractions such as Tsutenkaku Tower and Osaka Castle, but also the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Awaji Island. Cars and trains moving on the ground looked like toys, which made me wonder.

大阪旅はここまで。阪急電車で次は京都に向かいます〜。
